Preview of new models in 2004 A large number of new models with innovations that demonstrate our claim of “Vorsprung durch Technik” will be appearing on the market in 2004. In the early part of the year, the first to be unveiled will be the new flagship model, the Audi A8 L 6.0 quattro with a 12-cylinder engine. This will be followed shortly afterwards by a six-cylinder TDI version to add to the range of diesel-powered A8 models. To make the advantages of the 3.2-litre V6 engine in the Audi TT accessible to a broader group of customers, this model has also been available with a conventional six-speed manual gearbox since the start of the year. The Audi S4 Cabriolet with V8 engine and quattro drive will appear in the spring, to coincide with the start of the open-air season. Advance sales already commenced in January
