A new inner panel has been used on the standard rear lid since December 2000. In this inner panel 4 slots have been integrated for installing the spoiler (Page 7, Figure 4) and curvature has been integrated as a cable duct for the electrical wiring (brake light in the spoiler) on the left side.The Aerokit II consists of two side member panels (Figure 1, item A), a spoiler (item B), and a new front spoiler (item C). A brake light in the spoiler will replace the 3rd brake light above the rear lid.The rear spoiler and the new front spoiler must always be mounted on the vehicle simultaneously. Fitting these parts individually is not permitted and not approved. However, individually retrofitting bothside member panels is approved and permitted.The new Aerokit II is also available for new vehicles under Exclusive option No. “XAA.” Note:Retrofitting is also possible for vehicles starting with model year ’97 (V) to ’02 (2). For these vehicles, a new rear lid must also be ordered.Part No.: 986 512 011 02 GRV– as well as appropriate sealing material (000 043 204 38).
