Digital photography with a system benefit The new Leica D system offers ambitious amateurs and professional photog- raphers unique new options. As the first digital compact camera, the previous model already handled like a classic analog model. The LEICA DIGILUX 3 is now consistently proceeding with this success- ful concept and opening up new options at the same time. It is the first Digilux camera with an interchangeable lens and thus forms the basis for the Leica D system, an entirely independent digital single-lens reflex system.
