2.2 Installation with a router If you are using a router, use this setup which will work for both DSL and Cable internet services. 1) Connect an Ethernet cable from the LAN port on the router to the WAN port on the iPhone. 2) Connect any PC to any available LAN port of the router. You can also connect a PC to the available LAN port on the iPhone 3) Connect the power to the Cable/DSL modem and wait about 2 minutes before continuing to the next step 4) Connect the power to the router and wait 2 minutes 5) Connect a telephone set to phone jack labelled "line 1" on the iPhone. 6) Connect the power to the iPhone. 7) The red light will flash and the iPhone will start to download its configuration file. This process can take up to 5 minutes. When the light is off and has stopped flashing red, the unit is ready for use. When you pick up your phone to make a call you will see a green light. Note: For the first time setup, after you make the first outgoing call, you need to wait 10 minutes before iPhone is able to receive phone calls.
