What is electricity?Electricity is a form of energy produced by the movement of electrons. How is electricity created?Most electricity is generated by large magnets spinning inside coils of wire.These pieces of equipment with the magnets are known as generators. How does electricity move from its source?The path that electricity takes is called a "circuit." A circuit must not have anybreaks in it for electricity to flow continuously. A light switch is an example ofsomething that breaks or opens a circuit and therefore, prevents the flow ofelectricity. A "circuit" has three parts: source, connection and load. The source (generator) gives the electricity its 'push' through a circuit.This push is called "voltage", which can vary in strength, and is similar towater pressure in a hose.
