This degree gives students the knowledge and tools necessary tobe successful in the field of com-puter networking. Courses cover arange of networking topics, includ-ing network operating systems,hardware, web page design, andsystem administration. Through our International Univer-sity College Division, six of thecourses required for the programare taught at Sault College in SaultSte. Marie, Ontario. This collabora-tion between LSSU and SaultCollege exposes students to abroader range of hardware, soft-ware and networking topics. Theywill have hands-on experiencewith Linux, Novell and Windowsplatforms, as well as networkinghardware and operating systeminstallation. By taking advantage ofthe resources, as well as the facultyexpertise, from two schools,students will benefit from anenriched educational experience —all within LSSU’s regular tuitionstructure.
