Overview Overview: There’s more funk and more fun to be had in Chrysler’s PT Cruiser. For those whoprefer wind-in-the-hair good times, there’s even a PT Cruiser Convertible, too. The Touring modelcomes with a 150-hp four-cylinder engine and a five-speed manual. Then there’s the Turbo. TheTurbo has a 180-hp turbocharged 2.4-liter Four, with either a five-speed manual or a four-speedautomatic, which is optional in the Touring model. The top dog is the GT, which gets 50 morehorsepower from the Turbo’s 2.4-liter and the choice of a Getrag five-speed or the automatic,four-wheel disc brakes, traction control, 17-in. wheels and a firmer suspension. Convertible modelsget a power top, windows and door locks as well as a keyless remote. But if cargo hauling is anecessity, the traditional PT wagon is the logical choice.
