CPS-OTS has launched a new initiative aimed at limiting access to inappropriate Google Image Searches. This initiative is based on the "SafeSearch" mechanism built into the Google Search Engine that blocks web pages containing explicit sexual content from appearing in search results. When the changes take place, you will no longer be able to perform a Google Image Search with the SafeSearch mechanism disabled. The SafeSearch preference must either be set to the "Moderate" or "Strict Filtering" levels in order to successfully perform a Google Image Search. Violators will receive a CPS Blocked Page indicating that the material they are trying to view is inappropriate. If you feel that you have experienced this blocked page in error, please contact the CPS Helpdesk.
