Starting with MS SQL Server 2000 Here is my tutorial for the easiest way to start with MS SQL 2000 Firstly We are going to assume you have made your database already in Microsoft Access, asthis is the easiest way. ok firstly make sure your Access file is on the server. Go to Start -> Program Files -> Microsoft SQL Server -> Import/Export Data 1. First it will give you an introduction, click Next 2. Click the first drop down box, and select Microsoft Access 3. Select the file and put in the username and password, click next 4. Keep everything as the same, and drop down the database menu, click New 5. It will then ask for a name, put in your database name and hit ok, click Next 6. Keep the next page as is, just confirming you want to copy everything, click Next 7. Press Select all to make sure all your tables go across, click next 8. Keep it select to run immediately, click next 9. This page is just an overview of all the options, if you are happy with it, click Finish 10. You should have transported all your data over without problems, click Done 11. goto Start -> Program Files -> Microsoft SQL Server -> Enterprise Manager 12. Click + Microsoft SQL Servers + SQL Server Group + ServerName (Windows NT)
