Extracting drivers When you install Windows Server 2003, some drivers are not automatically installed and must be installed manually. If you have one of the following devices, extract the correct driver from the Server Companion CD to a diskette before you begin the Windows Server 2003 installation: ■ Gigabit Ethernet NIC (for Gateway 920, 960, 980, 955, and 975 servers) ■ Integrated Adaptec SCSI controller with RAID (for Gateway 955 and 975 servers) ■ Third IDE channel (for Gateway 920 server) To extract drivers: ■ See Using Your Server Companion CD for instructions on extracting drivers.
