I never assigned a password and as a result, I can't access the resources on my Windows 2000 PC from my Windows ME PC. Create a user account on the Windows 2000 machine with the same user name and password that you now use to log onto Windows Me. Or log on to Windows Me with the same user name and password that you now use to log on to Windows 2000. On most home LANs, where security is not an issue, I find it easiest to log in as Administrator on all PC's. Also, check if your guest account on the Windows 2000 computer is disabled.
